Hi,

You could see the YouTUBE videos about MyOpenLab and Arduino:

https://youtu.be/Fe8ydxlUzag

And try with the Included Examples located at Virtual Machines.

"Virtual Machines" > "Raspberry PI" > "Arduino Simple Interface JV"

It includes the MyOpenLab VM and the Arduino Sketch.

Or Try with Arduino Firmata Element, there are some examples...

"Virtual Machines" > "Examples English Arduino-Firmata"

Best Regards,

Javier Velásquez

my interest is to read the data collected by the com port of the arduino in myopenlab, however I could only simulate analog, digital and pwm inputs and outputs, but not the rx and tx pins. Then I want to simply read the data sent by the PC to the arduino but through some interface in myopenlab

Hi,

To read serial port you should use "RS232" elements. You need configure baud rate and other serial com parameters but it works well on Windows, some users have successfully tested it on linux. In the "Virtual Machines" Folder there are some examples.

For the next version I have developed new Serial elements that works with Linux PC. Linux SBC (Like Raspberry PI), windows and MAC OS but It is under development ans test.

I have attached a preview if you want test it.  You need to Unzip the folder "SerialCOM_JV" and move it to "Elements">"Circuit Elements">"Interface"> Folder.

Best regards,

Javier Velásquez
